High potential and gifted education

Some students learn faster and more easily than others. These students may shine in creativity, thinking, leadership or sport.

At Croydon Park Public School, we recognise and nurture these strengths early. We support advanced learners with great lessons and activities to help them grow and thrive.

In our classroom
At Croydon Park Public School, we offer differentiated learning tailored to each student’s pace and abilities, fostering higher-order thinking through engaging tasks and formative assessments. Our advanced pathways include accelerated content and explicit teaching of critical thinking and problem-solving. Students explore curriculum depth through inquiry, authentic projects, and flexible group work that promotes collaboration and creativity. In PDHPE, we focus on skill refinement, coordination, and leadership opportunities. Our supportive environment encourages self-assessment, strengths-based feedback, peer collaboration, and confident risk-taking, empowering every learner to grow and lead.
